Maritime Rowing Club

Aspetuck Land Trust
Aspetuck Land Trust Inc. is a non-profit Connecticut Corporation devoted to preserving open space and the natural resources of Easton, Fairfield, Weston and Westport for the benefit of the public. It was formed in 1966 by leading area conservationists. A Board of directors representing the 4 towns manages the Trust. Through generous gifts of land, continued efforts of volunteers, and cooperation from town agencies, the Aspetuck Land Trust has preserved over 1,700 acres of land, which will be maintained in a natural state in perpetuity.

Babcock Preserve
The Babcock Preserve is open to the public during daylight hours for hiking, walking, jogging, cross-country skiing, nature study, picnicking and horseback riding on designated trails. Camping without permission of the Department of Parks and Recreation and use of trail bikes are prohibited.

Bradley Park
Bradley Park was acquired by the Town in 1968 and 1969. It is 82.6 acres and has a boardwalk trail which allows visitors to walk into the heart of a red maple swamp.

The trails at Cherry Lane Park are excellent for hiking; however, they are not suitable for either horseback riding or cross country skiing. and picnicking. The property also supports a sizable red maple swamp. The park is 50.5 acres and was acquired by the town in 1972.

Audubon Greenwich
The Audubon Center in Greenwich opened in 1942 as the National Audubon Society’s first environmental education center in the United States on land donated by Eleanor Clovis Reese and H. Hall Clovis.
