GREENWICH, Conn. – A Greenwich police officer has been charged after an investigation into a dating relationship showed that it may have deteriorated to a possible criminal level, the Greenwich Police Department reported Tuesday evening.
Officer Donnell Fludd was arrested on a warrant on charges of stalking, harassment and disorderly conduct. Fludd has been on administrative leave since the alleged victim came forward in November, Chief James Heavey said. A separate internal affairs investigation was continuing.
“Because this is a personnel matter, the department will not comment further until the completion of the investigation,” Lt. Kraig Gray said in a statement. The department is cooperating with judicial authorities, he said.
The Greenwich Police Department has helped the alleged victim to receive domestic violence counseling, Gray said.
